Frequently Asked Questions - Airbrush Classes
In a 'Power Series' 4 day workshop, do you do all 3 levels (levels 1, 2 & 3) in the one 4 day class?
In short, No. Each 'Power Series' airbrush course is jam packed with content and techniques and each level requires its own 4 day workshop. Completing all 3 levels is 3 individual workshops.
Does Power Studios provide the equipment for the class?
Yes! Power studios provides all professional grade equipment and supplies for the class. There is no need to purchase any equipment to attend our class.
We also provide tea and coffee and biscuits. Soft drink cans are available for $1 at the class. The only thing you need to bring is yourself and your lunch.
What time does the class start?
As a rule, our classes start at 9.30am, however we recommend you check the details online of the specific class you are attending. We also recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class to get yourself settled.
I'm coming from interstate for the class. Where would you suggest for accomodation?
Firstly, we would suggest that you stay with friends or family if you have that option as this will help you keep costs down.
There is some accomodation in the surrounding suburbs however transport to and from is poor. If this is your wish, we can pick you up is it is arranged prior to the class.
We actually recommend that you stay closer to or in the CBD where there is a full range of accomodation available including a wide range of choices and something for every type of budget. With the Bayswater train station a comfortable 30 minute train ride from the CBD and only a 5 minute walk from the studio, transport is not a problem! If you stay in town, you also get to see Melbourne city, pubs, restaurants and shops while you're here!
Does Power Studios teach Night Classes for airbrushing?
No, we do not teach night classes for airbrush art. We want to give you the best quality instruction possible. Taking a 4 day course and spreading it over 12-16 weeks for 2-3 hours a night loses you valuable time for pack up and set up every single week as opposed to just once at the start and once at the end of a 4 day class (and for the 4 days, we even do the set-up). Combine this with travel time every week, plus trying to learn a new skill at the end of a days work when the mind is tired, as well as requiring the same night available for so many consecutive weeks is not a successful way to teach or learn airbrushing. Here at Power studios, we would not feel comfortable charging for such an unproductive, stunted way of learning.
After almost a decade of teaching we have made it easy for you. 4 Days, one time to arrange, minimal trips, maximum retention, maximum results and a full set of notes; Easy!
