An exquisite airbrush piece by Daniel Power capturing the end of Anakin Skywalker and the beginning of Darth Vader.

A gessoed texture was painted on the background area only (not on Darth Vader) as to pick up the airbrushing and give a burned, charred look, as the last spark within Anakin fades away moments before Vader rises out of the Ashes to cast his grip on the Star Wars galaxy.
