The Airbrush Tour

Late in 2008, Daniel Power embarked on a lengthy 28 day trip away from his family to attend some very special airbrush events and invitations.
Starting off in Hawaii with airbrushing legend Dennis Mathewson, Dnaiel and Dennis spent 10 days together airbrushing, talking and enjoying the common bond of artists. You can see their Molokai boat project HERE.

Daniel was then off to Washington State and a little town called Snohomish. This is the home of Mike Lavallees Killerpaint Studio and the inaugural Monster Bash Invitational! This thing was a BLAST and it was an honour and a pleasure to be there. There I met Mike and Nic and the whole Killerpaint team, along with Wizard, Jose, Gerald Mendez, Fonzy, Slick, Tiny and just some overall legends of airbrushing and Pinstriping. See pics from it HERE.

Next was L.A and Anahiem where I got to spend a couple of days with Dave Moning and the awesome guys and girls at Coast Airbrush before  heading off to Las Vegas!
I was picked up in Vegas by AD Cook (and speaking of airbrush tours, check out his awesome blog www.airbrushtour.com) whos kindness and hospitality along with his wife Kathy made the whole trip a really enjoyable and stress free event. These guys really went above and beyond with rides to and from the airport, around town, somewhere to sleep, absolute legends.

One of the main reasons for being in Vegas though was for the Annual SEMA show. A massive aftermarket car show, Danlel demostrated for two of the biggest names in the airbrush world: IWATA airbrushes and House of Kolor Paints.
Daniel was demonstrating alonside such airbrush greats as Steve Driscoll, Pamela Shanteau, Gerald Mendez, Mike Lavallee, Craig Fraser, Deborah Mahon and more as well as meeting many many talented artists.

It was a whirlwind 28 days and an amazing airbrush adventure.
