LEVEL 1 Course Overview
|

The Power series Level 1 is suitable for both complete airbrush newbie, but also for the intermediate airbrush artist. The course does start at absolute dot 1, but quickly moves on and more importantly, gives you a real "consciousness of control". All 3 levels of the Power Series workshops are designed with fundamental control and knowledge in mind so as to give you total airbrush control. In adddition to dozens of helpful airbrush tricks and techniques, you will learn solid airbrush foundations that will enable you to take airbrushing on as a new hobby, a part time money earner and for some people, even a new career. You'll have the information, after a Power series airbrush clorse, its up to you!

* You will learn the Foundation exercises that almost ALL airbrushing is built on!
'Daniel Power's Fundamentals' is a series of exercises that, when practised, give the freedom to airbrush practically anything!

* Learn double action co-ordination and control.
You learn to paint with the airbrush with complete confidence and control.

* The use and laws of transparent paint.
Learn the basics of laying down transparents and the benefits and speed of doing so.

* The use and laws of opaque paint
Learn the laws of mixing and laying down "capped" opaques with the benefits and accuracy of doing so.

* Transparent v's opaque
Learn the pro's and cons of both opaque and transparent paint and how to use both.

* You will learn the use of freehand stencils and templates
Bring a new edge to your artworks with a look that blends soft edges with sharp for the style and realism you have always wanted.

* Learn the Laws of Colour
Learn how colours effect each other and learn THE MOST important rule about white!

*Transferring an Image
Learn about the most common methods for drawing up an artwork and transferring an image.
